Educational Justice and Social Change
The second Ventura County Women's Forum was held at California State University Channel Islands. The keynote "Gender Equity in Education: Looking Back and Moving Forward" was given by Anna DiStefano, Fielding Graduate University, which was followed with a panel discussion on Gender Equity and Educational Leadership/Teaching as a Gendered Profession.
Session topics included Empowering Underrepresented Women and Girls; Gender, Educational Policy, and Reform; Gender Equity in Math, Science, Engineering, and Technology; Sex Education.
